Available In Stone Wash or Black Stone Wash.

After a long wait, Will has brought out the new Cholera Mk2.  This knife has a few refinements on the previous knife but we left the award winning profile the same. Some of the great new features are upgraded metal to USA made Aviation Grade 154CM Stainless Steel, ambidextrous sheath, hidden jimping and 2 different finishes.

All the products in Vulture's Knife & Tool division are given a name associated with the entomology of the species, in this case Cholera. This fixed blade was named for the disease that vultures keep in check from spreading in the animal kingdom and ultimately onto humans. The design is ultra refined and while suitable for many survival tasks, it is actually intended as a "All Mountain" knife and is well suited for hunting, camping, ranching or guiding or general exploration. It features a modified Gyuto belly design, a Japanese word that means "meat sword", with a few of William's own personal tweaks like the drop point. With the addition of a new modified swedge the tip boasts a Trocar style tip allowing it to pierce cleanly and effectively, scrape down bark or be sharpened creating a second edge.

This blade features something that William has spent a great deal of time fine tuning, the 4-in-1 handle design. The user can capture a true "fist grip" with even closing the pinky finger completely which allows for the maximum transfer of power from the shoulder to the wrist. You can hold the blade comfortably in an "ice pick" fashion or even turn the blade inward for a real "butcher's" style grip allowing you to dispatch large carcass like a pro. Please make sure to check out the video explaining the design in our video section.

The Cholera also features a full tang design which is 3/16'' thick making this a truly capable tool. The grind profile is a true modified scandi with flat bevels with a secondary edge for strength and ease of sharpening.  The Mk2 has a StoneWashed finish and laser engraved with the company logo as well as the designers name and model.

Please Note: Due to the size of this knife and the process of the StoneWash finish each knife varies in appearance. While we only run small numbers of knives during this process there still may be minute incositancies or marks from the process.
